So I’ve discovered what it’s like without electricity. It sucks.

The power went out at our house due to the storms that are up and down the country for the moment. It totally sucks, but we dealt with it.

So we went on with our lives realizing how boring everything was without electricity. Seriously, it sucked. It was dark and very quiet, though the candles did make things look nice.

In the end an electrician fixed everything, but man did it suck before then.

So I’m going to try and conserve electricity, ‘cos I never want to get in that sort of situation again if I can help it.

So went and saw this movie the other day. It wasn’t the greatest, but I did enjoy myself.

How’s that for long posts xD

I was clearing out my saved messages box on Gaia, and I found this poem a friend sent to me. It’s still one of my favourites.

Unseen Friend

So it is indeed my 20th birthday. I’m 20. Not 19. 20. Not 18. 20.

Such fun, I can vote, drink, drive and do jury service. Hang-on, I could do that already. Interesting.

So for my birthday I got some money from my grandparents for car seat covers, I’ve wanted some for so long, Outrageous Fortune Season 3 on DVD from a friend and my dad got me a car cd/mp3 player. Ironically a friend (awesome friend) from school also got me one, so I ended up with 2 XD

Neither have been installed at the moment, as we had some trouble with the power source. But it should all be good tomorrow. I’m also going to finally clean my car! It desperately needs it honestly, it is actually how sad how filthy it is. I’m a slob honestly.

Went to the movies with a couple of friends from class and we saw Hancock. It was cool even though it didn’t have much of a plot.

Now to just wander the internet for a while before falling asleep

So the other morning I wake up and what do I see? I see my cat sitting on my old CRT screen as she normally does. However she’s gotten into something, resulting in Purple Cat.
So I would like to introduce Purple Cat to the world, my funny little cat who likes getting into things.

The funny thing about her is the fact that she loves getting into things. Boxes, drawers, bags, cupboards, baskets. Pretty much anything that isn’t her own cat house. I’ve watched her try to get into one of those old VCR tape covers, the cardboard ones which are about an inch thick. It was very funny.

Branching off slightly, so I’ve gone and updated indeedle again. Its finally my break and so I can now set up my personal website. Indeedle is mine, its my blog and where I keep my stuff. BlooLagoo is my forum, but I’ve shifted my personal things away from it. Speaking as such, I’ve got to stop neglecting it.
